Rich Deem is married to Carole, a "retired" elementary school teacher and free-lance writer. Carole is currently raising their three sons aged 9, 7 and 5. In his spare time Mr. Deem likes to play classical piano, do cross stitch, and hike in the mountains. He also enjoys teaching Sunday School at Sierra Madre Congregational Church and works as a correspondent, reviewer, and speaker for the Christian apologetics and science ministry Reasons to Believe. In addition, Mr. Deem is active in the prolife community where he serves as the webmaster for the Pregnancy Help Clinics of Glendale and Hollywood and the Pregnancy Help Center of San Gabriel Valley.
