Mark's Page

Mark is our youngest son, who was born in 1995. He has been our largest boy from the beginning, and currently outweighs his older brother Andy. He will probably pass up Matthew in weight within a couple years. Being large as the youngest child has been good, since he has been able to keep up with his brothers since he was 2 years old. Mark loves to play with clay, blocks, and Lego's and has been known to make some very elaborate structures. Mark likes to pray at dinner and will begin first so that he gets a chance to pray. Mark made a profession of faith in Jesus Christ in November, 1999.

Mark, the artist

Our boys' school holds an annual art day, where the students select a verse and make an art project in class that depicts a certain theme. This year's theme was " values that last." Mark, our youngest son, made a depiction of a family out of clay. He was going to have five members in the family, but ran out of time and ended up with two. However, his project won first place in the two Kindergarten classes and was entered in the regional ACSI art fair, where it won "Best depiction of the theme."

Mark, the biker

Mark is a part of Cub Scouts, but in 2006 he went on all the bike trips with his brother, Matthew, who earned his biking merit badge. In the process, Mark completed the 50 mile bike ride - beating all the boy scouts!
