Evidence for God from Science Newsletter July, 1999
Greetings in the name of the Lord! This is the latest edition of the update for the Evidence for God from Science website.
I just finished an encouraging week of teaching vacation Bible school. It was great to see how excited the children were to worship God. They could hardly wait to sing their favorite song, "Awesome Wonder," and requested to sing it twice each day. It was very encouraging seeing over 300 children wanting to praise the Lord!
Much time has been spent developing a simple means of browsing through the site. The result is a Windows-like interface that allows you to examine the file list of each department. Information about the title of each page, the size of the file, and the date each was last modified is included in each window. As in Windows, you can sort the files by name, size, title, or modification date by clicking on the respective heading. The display looks best in Internet Explorer, but works fine in Netscape Navigator. Check out the new site map for Evidence for God from Science at:
New dynamic HTML outline for Discovery page
The latest version of HTML supports dynamic outlining for web pages. This feature allows one to click on sections of outlines to expand and collapse them to see the overall outline or examine the details. To do this, click on a heading or subheading to collapse it. Click again to expand it. This feature only works in Internet Explorer 5, but will be available in version 5 of Netscape Navigator when it is released. Dynamic outlining of chapter 1 (other pages to follow) can be found at:
News on the evolution front is still coming in fast, and I am again behind in keeping up with it. Recent news items can be found at the evolution pages:
Chickens trade reduced immunocompetence for beauty? Multiplying improbabilities - fish fins evolved multiple times? One dinosaur species found on multiple continents separated by hundreds of miles of ocean! Is It Time to Uproot the Tree of Life?

Projects being worked on:
Will Christians Go Through the Great Tribulation? - a critical look at the pretribulation rapture interpretation prevalent in our churches today. Get out your Greek dictionaries and be prepared for some surprising answers! This paper should appear next week.
Jesus Christ - the Messiah of the rabbinical writers Information from the booklet The Messiah of the Targums, Talmuds and Rabbinical Writers by F. Kenton Beshore (who generously agreed to allow the material to be used on this site) provides a convincing argument that Jesus Christ fulfilled the Messianic prophecies anticipated by rabbinical writers, beginning in 400 B.C.
Creationary Model for the Universe and Life on Earth will be a comprehensive model for the universe that fits both biblical accounts and scientific data. It is a much-requested (by evolutionists) creationary model. One of the most common complaints from evolutionists is that we criticize evolution without providing a reasonable alternative. This page will be an attempt to answer their charge.
